Terms of use

These cover this website. If we work together, a separate written agreement covers that — and it takes precedence over everything here.

Last updated 2 October 2026

1. Who these terms are with

This site is operated by Daena Digital, a marketing and technology studio based in Canada. "We" and "us" mean Daena Digital; "you" means anyone using the site. Using the site means you accept these terms.

2. What this site is

It's a description of what we do. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a quote, or professional advice you should act on without talking to us first. Prices and service descriptions can change, and are always subject to a written proposal.

3. The free audit

We offer a free growth audit and we mean it: no fee, no obligation, and the analysis is yours to keep and to act on however you like, including by handing it to another agency.

Two honest caveats. It's an opinion based on what you show us, not a guarantee of results — marketing outcomes depend on your product, your market and factors none of us control. And we may decline to run one if a request is outside what we do, if we're at capacity, or if there's a conflict with existing work.

4. The free tools

The calculators and the AI Search Readiness Audit under /tools are free, need no account, and are provided as they are. They're built carefully and we use them ourselves, but they make estimates and observations rather than promises: a calculator works from the numbers you type in, and the audit reports what our crawler could see on the day it looked. Neither predicts what any advertising platform, search engine or AI assistant will actually do, and no result should be treated as a guarantee of traffic, rankings, citations or revenue.

The audit fetches pages from an address you give it, so one thing is genuinely your responsibility: only submit a site you own or are authorised to test. Don't point it at somebody else's site as a way of probing it. We crawl politely — a small sample of pages, at a bounded rate, honouring what we find — and we limit how often the tools can be run from one place. Trying to get around those limits, or using the tools to build a bulk service of your own, isn't on.

We may change, limit or withdraw any of the free tools at any time, including while you're using one.

The website redesign preview is a prototype laid out by a third-party design tool from your page's own text, images and links, not a replacement for your live website or a completed implementation. Its links and controls do nothing. Capture can still omit content or functionality, and the tool may add short labels that are not on your site; these are listed beside the preview. Review the source, omissions and prototype before using it. A preview does not establish improved rankings, AI citations, accessibility compliance or conversion performance. Only submit sites you own or are authorised to test.

5. Client work is governed elsewhere

If we take you on, the terms of that engagement — scope, fees, ownership, confidentiality, termination — live in a written agreement signed by both sides. Where that agreement and this page disagree, that agreement wins. This page never overrides it.

6. Using the site properly

Please don't:

  • Submit the contact form with false information, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with normal operation — including the free tools and the endpoints behind them
  • Copy substantial parts of the site's text or design and present them as your own

We may block access if any of the above happens.

7. What belongs to whom

The design, text, code and brand on this site belong to us. You're welcome to quote or link to us with attribution — we'd rather people share our thinking than not.

Anything you send us through the form stays yours. We use it only to respond to you, as set out in our privacy policy. If you send us confidential details about an unannounced product, campaign or launch, treat that as covered by ordinary professional confidence: we won't repeat it.

8. Links to other sites

Where we link out, we don't control what's there and aren't responsible for it.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the site up but don't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove any part of it at any time.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from decisions made on the basis of general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited — including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

This clause is about the website. Liability for work we do for you is dealt with in the agreement covering that work.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which Daena Digital operates, and the courts of that province have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the current version is the one that applies.

13. Getting in touch

Anything unclear, or something here you disagree with? info@daenadigital.com. We'd rather sort it out in an email than in a dispute.
